Cada Vez más alto

Client: MAJA

(Description)

Cada vez más alto (Higher and higher) is a documentary that explores climbing beyond sport. It is a story about how movement, rock, and community transform the way people inhabit the world.
Over seven days of filming in El Salto, Nuevo León, we follow four climbers and their different ways of relating to the wall. Rather than focusing on physical achievement, the documentary centers on the process: falling, fear, shared effort, and a deep connection with the environment.

Shot close to home, this project emerges from an intimate and honest perspective on climbing as a way of understanding life. Each wall becomes a space for learning, collaboration, and discovery, where body and mind work together to keep moving forward.

Developed in collaboration with MAJA Sportswear, one of the Mexican adventure brands with the strongest presence in the country, the documentary aligns with its manifesto and philosophy: awakening the spirit of adventure and fostering respect for the natural world. Cada vez más alto celebrates the climbing community and invites reflection on adventure, movement, and territory. Because climbing is not just about reaching the top, but everything that happens along the way.
